Railway : The Cwm Coed Light Railway


Time : 12:00 noon onwards

Location : Pentraeth

Your Hosts are : Gavin and Joyce Cooper


The Cwm Coed Railway is a 45mm gauge line with continuous running and shunting facilities. It is partly raised above ground level - by up to some 1700mm in places!! In other parts it is at ground level. It has a minimum track radius of 4 ft. and the loading gauge clearances are 145 mm width and 165 mm height. There is no track power on this line.

Light refreshments and a buffet will be available and, should they wish to, visiting Members are invited to bring along complimentary food to share.

Visiting locomotives and rolling stock belonging to Members of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers are welcome.

Railway : The Abercanyon Railroad


Time : 12:00 noon onwards

Location : Llanfairfechan

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the recent problems this line has had with track boards, part of the line will have temporary track laid for this event and a speed restriction will be in place!


The Abercanyon Railroad is a 45mm gauge line with continuous running and shunting facilities and is raised above ground level by approximately 1200mm. It has a minimum track radius of 4 ft. but with LGB radius 5 curves on the main line. The loading gauge clearances are 150 mm width and 350 mm height. There is track power on part of this line, but this will not be in operation when Mike and Cecilia hold events for our Group.

Light refreshments and a buffet will be available and visiting Members are invited to bring along complimentary food to share.

Visiting locomotives and rolling stock belonging to Members of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers are welcome.

The Lazy Days Railway is a 45mm gauge line with continuous running and shunting facilities and is raised above ground level by approximately 400mm for about half of its length and is at ground level over the rest of the line. There is no track power on this line.

Light refreshments and a buffet will be available and, should they wish to, visiting Members are invited to bring along complimentary food to share.

Visiting locomotives and rolling stock belonging to Members of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers are welcome.
